Over the last 15 years the Dutch aviation sector has developed a strong and excellent reputation. The Netherlands is characterised by an extensive air route network, forming the foundations for a wide scale of economic activity extending beyond the aviation sector. Additionally The Netherlands is at the forefront of innovation, both in civil and military aviation.
The aviation sector is proud at its position in the global market, but it does not consider it a self-evident achievement. International aviation is continuously in motion, especially now. The dynamics of the markets and society demands that we maintain and strengthen the aviation sector, now and in the future. The strategies that have proven themselves in the past, have lost their edge and distinction. This requires new strategies for success.
By presenting the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for Aviation, the Dutch aviation sector, together present their strategies for coping with the challenges at hand. This will affirm the competitive edge of The Netherlands, and form the basis for the future.
